About
My career has moved across physical processes, organisational systems, digital products and technology. The connecting thread is understanding how parts, information and constraints produce behaviour.
Intellectual trajectory
Flows, reactions, constraints, process design and optimisation. My degree is in Chemical Process Engineering from the University of Lagos. My thesis examined green process redesign of used lead-acid battery recycling for refined lead.
Making organisational reality legible: processes, stakeholders, requirements, rules, information, decisions and operational constraints.
Designing interventions inside human, technological and economic systems: customer journeys, product requirements, data flows, metrics and delivery.
Understanding systems that perceive, represent, reason, decide, act and adapt. AI is one expression of the broader problem of intelligence.
Connecting strategy, business capabilities, processes, information, applications, technology, people and outcomes.
How I think
I try to make the system legible before changing it, and to learn from the consequences of the change.
Career history
Technical Product Manager (promoted from Business Analyst; later Mobile App Product Manager on the same CV line).
Product strategy, business analysis and delivery across lending, payments and banking: a universal loan preapproval platform, credit decisioning, attribution and funnel analytics, experimentation, and enterprise architecture for digital lending. Directed cross-functional work involving 50+ people.
Co-founder, product strategy and experience design.
A product and brand studio: discovery, research, UX strategy and service design for early-stage ventures.
Business Analyst.
Business analysis for blockchain wallet and payments products; BRDs, FRDs, PRDs and SRS documents; Agile delivery with engineering teams.
Business Analyst, Data Products.
Data-product requirements for international clients, with data engineers on API-first architectures.
| Problems | Complicated systems where product, data, policy, technology and operations pull against each other. |
|---|---|
| Decisions I help make | What to build, in what order, where the system boundary sits, what to measure, and when to change course. |
| Outcomes I aim to move | Growth, conversion, decision quality and delivery speed, with the risk guardrails stated up front. |
Where I’m heading: technical programme leadership for intelligent systems, and enterprise architecture and transformation, including in energy.
How the names fit
The person.
How I approach business, product and technology problems: understand the system first, then change it.
The connected set of ideas, models and experiments behind the work: systems, information, complexity, intelligence, organisations, products, architecture, philosophy.
The design idea: the same structure seen from several angles, without flattening its depth.
Make the surface simple. Make the depth rich.
Complexity belongs in the architecture, not in the interface.
